The Project
inSPIRE® Ministries was entering an exciting new chapter of growth.
Under Donna Lee Lamothe’s leadership, the ministry, which was originally established under a different name in 1967, had evolved into something new: a modern discipleship framework designed to help Christians integrate faith into every area of life through five interconnected dimensions: Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Relational, and Emotional (SPIRE).
At the same time, Donna was preparing to launch several major initiatives, including her new book, inSPIRE®–Faith for a “Whole” Life, and a small group discipleship framework.
She partnered with Becca Jules & Co. to translate this concept into a digital presence that could support her upcoming launches while creating room for future offerings.
What began as a messaging and website copywriting engagement expanded into a full WordPress website redesign and development project right here in Canmore, Alberta.

Simplifying a Multi-Step Ministry Model
inSPIRE® Ministries offers an interconnected ecosystem of resources. We needed to simplify the pathway so first-time visitors could understand where to begin and what happens next.
Supporting a Major Book Launch
Donna’s upcoming book was becoming the primary entry point into the ministry. The WordPress website needed to support both direct sales and future engagement opportunities.
Serving Multiple Audiences
The ministry serves individual believers, pastors, small group leaders, retreat attendees, and donors. We wanted the website to help each audience quickly find what was most relevant to them.
Increasing Organic Visibility
Our team identified opportunities to improve search visibility for users actively searching for Christian books, discipleship resources, retreats, and spiritual formation tools.
We sat down with Donna in Canmore, Alberta and began with strategy before writing a single website page. As a local marketing agency in Canmore, it’s important we take the time to meet one-on-one in person whenever possible. We worked closely with Donna to gain a deep understanding of the ministry, target audiences, long-term goals, and unique position in the Christian discipleship space.

Messaging Foundation
We crafted a messaging framework that clarified what makes inSPIRE Ministries® distinct in a crowded Christian discipleship landscape. This foundational piece drove all communications, ensuring consistency across not just the website, but every platform going forward.

User Journey Mapping
One of the biggest priorities was simplifying how users interact with the ministry. We mapped a five-phase journey designed to move visitors from curiosity to long-term engagement:
Discover & Buy the Book → Onboard & Engage → Join a Discipleship Group → Retreat → Advocate. This structure now shapes website navigation and content strategy.
SEO Strategy
We conducted SEO keyword research to identify high-intent opportunities. This research directly informed the website navigation, page structure, and website copy.
Website Architecture
We restructured the site to create more clarity around the ministry’s offerings. The final navigation creates an intuitive experience for discipleship participants, as well as donors.
Website Copywriting
We made sure first-time visitors could immediately understand: What is this? Who is this for? What do I do next? We positioned Donna’s upcoming book, inSPIRE®–Faith for a “Whole” Life, as the natural first step while creating clear pathways into group discipleship, retreats, resources, and donor support. To reduce friction and help visitors self-select, we introduced two primary calls-to-action across the site: Buy the Book → for individuals ready to begin the journey, and Support the Mission → for donors looking to expand the ministry’s impact. Throughout the copy, we infused a warm, spiritually grounded brand voice that will resonate with Christian leaders and everyday believers seeking to integrate faith more deeply into their lives.
Website Design & Development in WordPress
The project ultimately expanded into full website design and development from our marketing team here in Canmore. The final visual identity draws from the book’s design, incorporating: Mountain-inspired imagery, inSPIRE®’s blue and white colour palette, a clean layout, strong calls-to-action, a calm, elevated user experience evocative of spiritual growth and the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. The site feels modern, intentional, and aligned with Donna’s book, as well as her overall vision for the ministry.
